Bag Forming
There are two main methods of forming plastic bags; side sealing and bottom sealing. Side sealing is typically used for small bags; bottom sealing is used for bigger heavy duty bags.
Some of the many variations on basic bag forming processes include:
- Adding side or bottom gussets to increase the bag's capacity
- Die cut handles
- Air holes or pin holes
- Forming a flap and adding adhesive tape to form a sealable courier bag
- Making bags on a roll
- Making individual sheets
